The Wadsworth Company is formed by Brent Wadsworth. Work begins at Calumet Country Club in Homewood, Illinois.

Wadsworth Golf now works on four courses a year, and expands into other regions, including Kentucky and Tennessee. Inverness in Palatine, Illinois is complete this year - 21 courses complete.

Wadsworth Golf expands into the Southeast, setting up an office in Tampa, Florida. This year the work is in Florida, Georgia and Illinois - 51 courses now complete.

The golf boom moves west. The Southwest office is created. The Boulders is under construction in Arizona - 157 courses complete.

Work is underway on 14 golf courses. Castle Pines is under construction in Colorado - 224 courses complete.

The Pacific Division is formed. Work is underway at Augustine, Bonita Bay and Grayhawk - 352 courses complete.

Now, 48 years later, Wadsworth has built over 680 golf courses in 44 states.
