In golf, as in successful living, there is a unique emphasis on the gentle behavioral qualities of self-discipline, culture and etiquette, in order to conform to a higher standard of propriety and respect between human beings. Golf also embodies the qualities of charity, a lenient judgment of others and the opportunity for enriching the lives of all who come in contact with the game.

Since 1958, the Wadsworth Golf Construction Company has built more than 500 golf courses, including several world renowned golf courses. In 1980, company founders, Jean and Brent Wadsworth, established the Wadsworth Social Responsibility program, which led to their creation of the Wadsworth Golf Charities Foundation in 1997, in honor of the Company's 40th year anniversary.
